The History...
The Algoma Club has been a part of downtown Oshkosh for many years. The IOOF building (International Order of Odd Fellows) was built in 1884 and was a gathering place for the men in the association, which dedicated itself to service and charitable acts for others. Used first as the IOOF gathering space, it has also been the site for theatre shows, rumors of speakeasy connections, and fantastic parties. An old building with over a century of history, it recently went under a makeover with its new owners in 2011. Additional restrooms, updated décor, and modern amenities are now a part of this building’s legacy. Let our history be a part of your history!

Algoma Club Hall
Enter Algoma Club via the grand staircase and take a step back in time. Algoma Club hall gives a nod to its historic past as the ornate millwork and attention to detail makes this jewel stand out in a commercial world. Symbolic images placed high along the twenty four foot walls gives light to its beginning with the International Order of Odd Fellows. The hall is noticeably lit by a grandiose chandelier, four ten foot tall windows, and stained glass windows along the front of the hall. Weddings, graduations, showers, music celebrations, business meetings and so much more can take place. No decorations are needed in Algoma Club; simply enjoy the exceptional space in this one of a kind hall.

Oshkosh Room
The Oshkosh Room offers a more intimate atmosphere with its window lined wall, marble fireplace, and photos of Oshkosh’s yesteryears. Enjoy work meetings, or smaller special events in a room dedicated to Oshkosh’s history. The 60” TV can be used for slide shows or power point presentations.

Algoma Club Bar
Get a feel of Algoma Cub’s discreet speakeasy days while you enjoy a cocktail in this classic environment. The Bar at Algoma Club is visually stimulating with its mid-century bar back and photographs of Oshkosh lore. Three 50” screens provide you and your guests with visibility from any part of the Algoma Club Bar. Come in after work to unwind, fill your evenings with entertaining live music, stop in for dinner and drinks, or catch a sports event. Oshkosh photos, vintage bar stools, ten foot windows, marble fireplace, lounging couches – you will feel quite at ease with or without a soothing drink!
