Colorful Comedy - A night of Laughs, Beats, and Live Graffiti
Comedian Steve Gillespie, a Wisconsin native, returns to headline one special night of comedy and art. Steve joins local graffiti artist, Wigills, and DJ BurgleKutz featuring RGS and Clutch Cargo for an entertaining night of music, visual art, and of course comedy.
Steve Gillespie was born and raised in Ripon Wisconsin. He started doing stand up in Minneapolis MN at the nationally renowned Acme Comedy Club. He soon became a fixture at comedy clubs all over the Midwest. Touring constantly and was named runner-up for Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest in 2013. He recorded his first album “Stever Fever” at the Skyline Comedy Club in Appleton WI. That album was named one of the top 10 albums of 2013 by comedy-reviews.com. Steve began to tour nationally, appearing in over 40 states, including Canada and Mexico. In 2016 he made his first national tv appearance on Conan Obrien. He has since made 5 more tv appearances, including Amazon Prime’s Inside Joke, Hulu’s Guest List, Fox’s Laughs, and Unprotected Sets on EPIX. His latest album “Alive On State” was recorded at Comedy on State in Madison WI. That album reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts and even reached #12 on the Billboard charts. Steve’s absurd and thought-provoking style has gained him recognition as one of the top up and coming comics in the country. Steve has since moved to Los Angeles but is returning for one special night where he will combine his talents with other art forms for a night packed full of laughs, music, and live graffiti.
